Finding your own Wild&
“Tell the one about being handed a live chicken on the bus in a remote village in Africa!” “Oooo, what about the one where you almost failed your polygraph because you forgot you paid less for your sushi than you were supposed to?!?” “Remember that one time when you stole drugs from a drug dealer?”
If you ever tell me a story, in particular a very entertaining story, and we’re at a gathering with new people, I’m the one who’s going to make you tell it again. Because some of the very best parts of human connection come from stories.
I recently learned one of my great great (insert several more great’s) grandfather’s was tasked with bringing supplies to George Washington on a battle field. Now, regardless of my feelings on both politics and war, that’s pretty cool.
What does all this have to do with you and me? Story is the reason I created Wild&.
You have a story and it needs to be told.
And I’m willing to bet, you’ve found yourself sitting with your brand/business wondering how you can tell that story without making people feel like they are being sold to.
There is a way. I’m here to help you find it.
Wild& came from a place deep within my soul- that sounds extreme but it’s true. I’d been thinking a lot about how so much of who we are formed into being is tainted by societal, political, and familial pressures. And how if we could get back to who we were truly meant to be, we’d have found our Wild. My personal journey has led me back to my own Wild, who I feel I was truly meant to be. I’m still uncovering it, but let me tell you- the freedom is real. It’s so real and so beautiful.
Lest we forget about one of the most important parts- the ampersand- the “and.” What do you do once you’ve found your Wild? What do you add to it? Where do you show up as your most authentic self and how do you share it with the world- in your career, in your relationships, in the food you eat, and the hobbies you create for yourself?
Your “and” is the stuff that fills up life. It’s that good shit.
When I translate that concept to business, and what I do for others, I’m marrying my passion for story and my deep seated belief that everyone deserves to share their story. Yes, even you.
In so doing, your story has the capacity to change your little corner of the world. The services you provide for your clients are necessary for the furthering of the greater good. It might be coaching or counseling or even accounting, and at the heart of what you do is your passion to help other people succeed- to help them fulfill their Wild&.
So, my friend? Have you found your Wild&? Are you ready to share it with the world? Have a look around the website and see if I might be that person to journey with together. You have a story and it needs to be told. Let’s tell it together.
